Eligibility & Duration
Basic Eligibility
- 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board
- Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) as compulsory subjects
- Minimum aggregate: typically 45%–75% depending on category & institute
- For IIT / NIT / IIIT: valid JEE Main / JEE Advanced score as per year’s cut-offs
Course Duration
- Standard duration: 4 years (8 semesters)
- Lateral entry (Diploma to B.Tech): 3 years in many colleges
- Mandatory internships / industrial training in later semesters (college-wise)
